Absinthe Blanchette - 60%
Blanchette is a replica of a clear absinthe originally made at the historic Combier Distillery in the Loire between 1899 and 1915.
It beautifully combines the fruity flavours of fennel with the powerful aromas of Grand Wormwood. Blanchette was awarded the “Cuillère d’Or” at the 2006 Absinthiades in Pontarlier, France, as well as a silver medal at the International Wine & Spirits Competition the same year. It is distilled at Combier by Ted Breaux, the mastermind behind the Jade absinthe range.
This is a clear French absinthe that can take it's rightful place alongside the very best Swiss blanches.
